Description

This gluten free chocolate mousse recipe is rich, silky, and simple to prepare. Made with just four ingredients, it’s perfect for holidays, dinner parties, or a quiet night at home.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa, gluten free)

3 large eggs, separated

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)

Optional: pinch of sea salt or espresso powder

Instructions

1. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Let cool slightly.

2. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until glossy.

3. Whip the cream until soft peaks form.

4. Add the egg yolks to the cooled chocolate and stir until smooth.

5. Gently fold in the whipped cream, followed by the egg whites.

6. Spoon into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
