Description
Extra crispy gluten free chicken wings recipe made in the oven or air fryer. Simple, flavorful, and perfect for game nights or family dinners.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
1 tbsp gluten free baking powder (aluminum-free)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Buffalo sauce or honey garlic sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil, placing a wire rack on top.
2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
3. Mix baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
4. Season wings evenly with the spice mix.
5. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack, leaving space between them.
6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
7. For air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
8. Toss cooked wings in buffalo sauce, honey garlic, or lemon pepper and serve immediately.
Notes
Dry wings thoroughly for maximum crispiness.
